Speakers

Laura Kremer NP-C is a certified Nurse Practitioner of adult and gerontology primary care medicine. A two time graduate of the Madonna University Nursing Program, Laura worked as a nurse for 10 years prior to becoming a nurse practitioner in 2017. With over 15 years of patient care experience, Laura takes pride in her patient centered approach. Her strong beliefs in collaboration, clear communication, and care team management help ensure a high focus on her patients.

EdD
Experienced administrator with a demonstrated history of working in the higher education industry. Skilled in Nonprofit Organizations, private independent college education, Nursing Education, Program Evaluation, Instructional Design, and Curriculum Development. Strong education professional with a Doctor of Education (EdD) focused in Higher Education/Higher Education Administration from Eastern Michigan University.

A graduate of the University of Michigan Law School, and also earned his Ph.D. in Labor Economics from the University of Michigan. His practice is concentrated in employment rights litigation and counseling, and he serves as a neutral arbitrator and mediator in employment disputes. He is a former council member of the State Bar of Michigan Labor and Employment Law Section and a past chair of the Oakland County Bar Association Employment Law Committee. Mr. Kotzian is also on the roster of Neutral Employment Law Arbitrators for the American Arbitration Association. He has been selected as one of "The Best Lawyers in America" in employment law for the past ten years, and was elected as a Fellow of the College of Labor and Employment Attorneys. Superlawyers named him as one of the top ten attorneys in the State of Michigan for 2009-2012.

Dalton Bender graduated with his Doctor of Nursing Practice as a Family Nurse Practitioner and a certification as a Nurse Educator from the University of Michigan in 2024. He is certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Since graduation, he has been working in infectious diseases with a focus on HIV, STI, gender-affirming, and primary care. In this role, he has been a sub- or co-investigator on several drug trials as well as the principal investigator on several projects of his own. He also developed the first EMR-based, semi-automated TelePrEP program for HIV and STI prevention. The care he provides is holistic and evidence-based with an emphasis on patient engagement and collaboration.

Kelly Caputo graduated with her Doctorate of Nursing practice as a Family Nurse Practitioner and a certification as a Nurse Educator from the University of Michigan in 2024. She is currently working for Allergy and Immunology Associates of Ann Arbor which is a private practice clinic in Southeastern Michigan. She is currently working alongside Physician Assistants and Physicians in the allergy field. Her job consists of managing many different allergic diseases including asthma, food allergies, allergic rhinitis, atopic dermatitis and immunodeficiency diseases. She works particularly with children and adults with food allergies and provides oral challenges on a weekly basis to evaluate if children or adults have outgrown their food allergies. She works alongside families and patients to ensure they are able to achieve their best quality of life with managing atopic disease.

Jaelynn Lewis is a dedicated nurse practitioner specializing in cardiology. She earned her degree from the University of Michigan, where she honed her skills and knowledge in advanced patient care. With a strong commitment to improving cardiovascular health, Jaelynn provides expert care and support to her patients, focusing on preventive measures and effective treatment strategies. Her passion for cardiology and patient-centered approach make her a valued member of her healthcare team.
