Infectious Disease, American Board of Internal Medicine
Amanda Kupstas, MD, is board-certified in surgery. She completed her fellowship in breast surgery at the Mayo Clinic and has clinical interests in the diagnosis and treatment of benign and malignant breast disease, evaluation of women at increased risk of breast cancer, and nipple sparing mastectomy. Dr. Kupstas sees patients in Brighton and Livonia.

Senior Advisor IHI, Chair Moving Forward National Coalition
Alice Bonner has been a nurse practitioner for over 30 years. She is currently Senior Advisor for Aging at the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) and Chair of the Moving Forward Nursing Home Quality Coalition. From 2015-2019, Bonner served as Secretary of the Executive Office of Elder Affairs for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. From 2011 to 2013, Dr. Bonner served as Director of the Division of Nursing Homes in the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) in Baltimore, MD.

Jenifer Martin is an adjunct clinical instructor in the Department of Health Management and Policy at the University of Michigan School of Public Health. She teaches courses and frequently provides guest lectures and workshops in effective advocacy for students, faculty, staff, and community partners. Ms. Martin served as director of government relations at the UM School of Public Health from 2002-2018. In 2013-2014, she helped launch government relations for the UM Institute for Healthcare Policy and Innovation, where her efforts led to a multidisciplinary partnership with the State of Michigan to evaluate the implementation of health reform, including the State’s Medicaid expansion. She has authored and overseen successful federal and foundation grant projects and managed the campus-wide Bioterrorism Preparedness Initiative post-911. Prior to joining the University of Michigan, Ms. Martin held various legislative and policy roles in Washington, D.C. She received a B.A. in Spanish from the University of Michigan and a J.D. from the Georgetown University Law Center.

Dr. Lisa Chism is the clinical director of Oakland Macomb Center for Breast Health. Dr. Chism holds three specialty certifications which include certification as a Menopause Practitioner through the Menopause Society, certification as sexuality counselor through the American Association of Sexuality Therapists, Counselors and Therapists and after 15 years caring for breast cancer survivors and patients at high risk for breast cancer, she became certified in breast care through the Oncology Nursing Society. Dr. Chism has established a dedicated menopause and sexual health clinic caring for the menopausal and sexual health needs of women who have a history of breast cancer or are at elevated risk for breast cancer. Dr. Chism has authored numerous publications related to women’s healthcare including serving as lead author of the 2023 Menopause Society’s Non hormonal position statement. She quest lectures at Universities across the country and her textbook “The Doctor of Nursing Practice: A Guidebook for Role Development and Professional Issues” is in its fifth edition. Dr. Chism is a Fellow of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and was selected as Menopause Practitioner of the year 2011. She formally served on the Board of Directors at the North American Menopause Society as well as a federal advisory committee with the CDC regarding breast cancer in young women. In October 2021 Dr. Chism was inducted as a fellow of the American Academy of Nursing. She has also written and published her memoir, “The Adopted Nurse: A Memoir of Courage, Compassion, and Hope” and is active in the adoptee advocacy space.
Retired Nurse Practitioner, Geriatrics at Trinity Mercy Health
Experience in oncology, neonatal intensive care, caring for special needs students in public school, adult primary care, endocrinology, geriatrics, and long-term care. This variety of practice settings has molded an appreciation for compassionate treatment of the whole person and their family. Recently retired after a 45-year career. Also, recently diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease, bringing an interesting perspective to the last months of caring for those with the same diagnosis.
NP, Trinity Health Hauenstein Neurosciences, Grand Rapids Campus
Susan Price has been a nurse practitioner focusing on Neurology for the past 15+ years at the Hauenstein Neuroscience Center at Trinity Health Grand Rapids. Her current clinical practice is in Movement Disorders, Memory Disorders, Multiple Sclerosis, and Neuro-palliative care. She is a PhD candidate at Rush University with a research focus on diet and Parkinson’s Disease.

A dedicated healthcare professional, I have been at the forefront of long-term care nursing for the last 13 years. She earned a Masters in Nursing in 1999, marking the beginning of a passionate and impactful career in the field. She has served as State Clinical Director, Regional Clinical Leader for all of Ohio and Southern Ohio, and most currently as the Corporate Clinical Specialist for Eventus WholeHealth since October 2023. Her most recent duties focus on corporate and facility level issues including navigating the Schizophrenia Federal Surveys, Return to Hospital reviews and participating in QAPI meetings focusing on Antipsychotics, Psychotropics, Antibiotic Stewardship and other QAPI metrics, as well as participate in educating staff on the latest changes to CMS that impact long term care. She also help facilities problem solve and educate staff as needed when survey issues arise or if additional education is needed in any area of need.

Chuck Dillay is a Senior, Medical Science Liaison with Otsuka Pharmaceuticals with a passion for information and education across multiple medical disciplines and specialties involving Alzheimer’s dementia including geriatrics, primary care, long-term care, psychiatry and neurology. Prior to current MSL role, Chuck was the national lead for US based phase 3 clinical trials focused on agitation associated with Alzheimer’s dementia as Senior, Clinical Trial Liaison. Chuck brings 17 years of compassionate patient care and clinical experience to the world of pharmaceutical science, practicing in a variety roles and positions for inpatient and outpatient medicine in mid-Michigan. As a Michigan native and resident, Chuck holds a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Wayne State University in Detroit, MI and completed his undergraduate studies at Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti, MI.
