Position Description

Location: Toledo, Northwestern Ohio! This city is situated along the western end of Lake Erie. Toledo is known for its industrial heritage, particularly in manufacturing and shipping, as well as its cultural institutions and attractions. This opportunity is available in another part of the state as well.

Facility: A well-regarded hospital known for providing comprehensive medical services and offering a wide range of specialties including cardiology, orthopedics, neurology, oncology, and emergency services.

Opportunity:

• Seeking Locum/Locum to Perm Critical Care – Neuro coverage starting August 2025 through February/March 2026 (6-month assignment).

• Practice Setting: Hospital-Based
• No call!
• Patient population: Adult: 100%
• Trauma: 40%
• Inpatient: 100%
• Average Number of Hospital-Based Patients Per Locum Per Day: avg census in Neuro ICU is 10pts, Neurosurgery consults avg 5/night
• No other Neurologists be Present During Locum's Assignment
• 2 neuro intensivists in group and they will be available by phone at nights
• 3 Advanced Practice Providers in Group
• Lab Onsite & Xray on site
• Typical level 1 trauma set up
• Documentation System/EMR: Epic
• Trauma Level/Designation: level 1 trauma, comprehensive stroke Compensation: Competitive weekly pay and malpractice included.
