Flexible Schedule | Burn and Wound Care Focus - PA Opportunity in Ohio


A healthcare team in Ohio is looking for a Burn and Would Care PA to provide locum tenens coverage. Chat with us today to learn more!

Practice Setting


  • Inpatient setting
  • Full specialty backup
  • Unit holds 12 beds, occasional overflow in summer
  • Treats both adult and pediatric patients


Schedule


  • Monday through Friday
    • 6 AM - 6 PM coverage
    • No call required
    • Ongoing need, starting July or as soon as credentialed


Procedures and Cases


  • Adult and pediatric burns, inhalation injuries
  • Wound care, Stevens-Johnson Syndrome (SJS), and other bullous rashes
  • Core APP privileges required
  • Advanced procedures like line placements not required initially


Requirements


  • Physician Assistant (PA) licensure in Ohio
  • BLS certification required
  • Open to candidates board certified or board eligible within 5 years
  • Burn experience preferred; will consider new grads or NPs
